Cattab ("we", "us", "our") is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform providing project management, finance, file management, client management, reporting, and team directory tools for language professionals, including translators, editors, proofreaders, copywriters, graphic designers, and translation agencies worldwide.
This Privacy Policy applies to all users of our website at cattab.com, our web application, and any related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

5.2 At Your Direction
If you invite team members or collaborators to your workspace, we share relevant project data with those individuals as you instruct.
5.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Cattab, our users, or the public.
5.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services. Specifically:
- Active account data: Retained for the duration of your subscription and for 30 days after cancellation, during which you may request a data export
- Billing records: Retained for 7 years to comply with financial and tax regulations
- Support communications: Retained for 3 years after resolution
- Log and analytics data: Retained for up to 24 months in anonymised or aggregated form
- Deleted content: Removed from active storage within 30 days and from backup systems within 90 days
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal data, we securely delete or anonymise it.
Security
We take the security of your data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures, including:
- Encryption of data in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher
- Encryption of data at rest using AES-256
